FREEHEARTS AFRICA REACH OUT FOUNDATION Acronym FAROF is one of the leading Nigerian Non-profit development Organizations, dedicated to saving one life at a time, with her greatest strength of working and leading projects as a Consortium, implementing programmes focused in Health- (improving Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights  (SRHR), Conflict mitigation and management, HIV Prevention, Nutrition and better hygiene); Education-(Promoting Girl child Education);Child Protection-(Gender Base Violence & Exploitation (GBVE)) and, Community Development Programs-(Enterprise Development and Vocational Skills). FAROF is a registered non-profit Humanitarian Organization founded on the 5Th December, 2011 by Michael E Adams Light and Ambassador (Chief Matron) Eunice E. A. as Co-founder, while appointed other team of great humanitarian hearts as Trustees and health professionals and was officially registered on the 30th May 2013 as an

NGO under the Part C of the Allied Matters Act (1990) Corporate Affairs Commission, Abuja, Nigeria (CAC/IT/NO 61548). Operational excellence is achieved through key technical, operational and professionals headed by Light Michael E. Adams as Program Manager and Ambassador (Chief Matron) Eunice Ebunola A. as the CEO.

Our staff includes experts in nutrition, health, education, environment, community development, gender equality, research and technology, while Our programme strategies include: Conflict Management, Demand creation; Peer education; Community dialog; Advocacy and sensitization; Capacity building; HIV Testing Services HTS; Sexual Reproductive Health; Gender Base Violence and Exploitation;  and Enterprise Development/Income generating activity IGA; and, Harm Reduction Services, to mention but a few.

FAROF programs have received funding and Technical supports from The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), Center for Disease Control and prevention (CDC), Friends for Global Health Initiative in Nigeria (FGHIN), TY Danjuma Foundation, UNICEF and Society for Family Health (SFH). FAROF has also received funding and Technical support from a host of other donors including Catholic Relief Services (CRS) under 4CHILDREN, State Aids Control Agencies (SACA), National Aids Control Agency-NACA, and National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

Our project funds are managed by a team of Governance and 2 chartered accountants in accordance with the mandates given by the Donor. Strict controls are in place to ensure that no funds are mis-spent or misappropriated, guided with an updated Financial and Procurement Policy Manual.
