3DAYS FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN KADUNA STATE,NIGERIA

FAROF will be conducting a 3day free Medical outreach from 1^st  to 3^rd  May 2025, targeting 3000 vulnerable population (women and children specifically) in two underserved communities: Rafinguza (Kaduna North LGA) and Goningora (Chikun LGA) within Kaduna State.

This outreach is aimed to provide essential health services to pregnant women, nursing mothers, newborns, and children including under-five—many of whom face significant challenges accessing basic maternal and child healthcare.

The following free medical services will be provided:

1. Eye screening including glaucoma  and distribution of refractive glasses,
2. Malaria testing and treatment
3. Deworming for under-five children
4. Child nutrition screening and provision of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) for malnourished children.
5. Hepatitis B (HBV) screening, treatment and vaccination for non-reactive individuals.
6. Ultrasound scans for pregnant mothers.
7. Consultation services by pediatricians and specialist doctors.
8. Heart screening and treatment, including life-saving surgeries.
9. Cancer screening, care, and treatment.
10. Distribution of Maltina drinks to participants who complete screening and other minor health screening exercise including BP check and sugar level check.
