3DAYS FREE MEDICAL OUTREACH FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN IN KADUNA STATE,NIGERIA

FAROF will be conducting a 3day free Medical outreach from 1st to 3rd May 2025, targeting 3000 vulnerable population (women and children specifically) in two underserved communities: Rafinguza (Kaduna North LGA) and Goningora (Chikun LGA) within Kaduna State.
This outreach is aimed to provide essential health services to pregnant women, nursing mothers, newborns, and children including under-five—many of whom face significant challenges accessing basic maternal and child healthcare.
The following free medical services will be provided:
- Eye screening including glaucoma and distribution of refractive glasses,
- Malaria testing and treatment
- Deworming for under-five children
- Child nutrition screening and provision of Ready-to-Use Therapeutic Food (RUTF) for malnourished children.
- Hepatitis B (HBV) screening, treatment and vaccination for non-reactive individuals.
- Ultrasound scans for pregnant mothers.
- Consultation services by pediatricians and specialist doctors.
- Heart screening and treatment, including life-saving surgeries.
- Cancer screening, care, and treatment.
- Distribution of Maltina drinks to participants who complete screening and other minor health screening exercise including BP check and sugar level check.
