FAROF implements innovative programs that empower women to take charge of their health and provides evidenced-based approaches to meet the reproductive health of Marginalized groups, particularly women.
2022 Achievements so far:
FAROF is excited to launch a new project for schools, titled: Menstrual Hygiene Management for the in-school Girl Child in partnership with Kimberly Clerk and TY Danjuma Foundation
FAROF’s work on improving sexual and reproductive health is a key effort towards achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3, which calls for good health and well-being. It also advances Goal 5, which calls for gender equality
FAROF works with Public-private organization, governments, civil society and donor partners to develop comprehensive efforts to ensure universal access to sexual and reproductive health care.
FAROF advocates for integrating the delivery of these services into primary health care, so it is as accessible as possible. This means, for instance, that a woman could address antenatal care, HIV testing and general health needs all in one place.
The Freehearts Africa Reach Out Foundation through partnership has achieved what was once considered impossible. In a developing country like Nigeria where millions of Girls are still learning their sexual rights;
FAROF continue working with Partners to promote Menstrual hygiene Management, educating Adolescent girls on their Sexual rights and other sexually transmittable diseases.
FAROF and her partners will continue to strengthen the health system in Nigeria through trainings and equipping primary health system and other relevant stakeholders, together towards Infectious disease outbreak preparedness and response in the Africa Continent
