Mr. Michael Light-Adams is a Co-Founder of Freehearts Africa Reach Out Foundation (FAROF), He has been a member of the Trustee since 30th May 2013 to November 2023, He Held the position of Chairman of the Board of Trustee from 2013-2018, when He voluntarily gave the position and chose to be the Strategic Development Manage of the Foundation to assist in overseeing the day to day running of the Organization.

Michael Adams is an alumnus of the Young African Leaders Initiative-Regional Leadership center (YALI- RLC) of Cohort 15, 2020 and has over 16 years of hands – on experience in private, multinational, humanitarian works with governmental and non-governmental organizations. He is a certified developmental Worker and had worked with the Kaduna state Ministry of Education and Technology in participatory approach to developing the educational system in Kaduna state 2012. In 2018 he was preferred as Kaduna state CSOs representative to support the African Union and Plan international to compile the complementary African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACRWC) shadow report. He works with a range of certified US exchange program fellows, certified Vocational Education and training (VET) Trainers and has competence skills in database management with professional ability in use of excel, Enhanced Independent Monitoring (EID) tools, ODK, DHIS, NOMIS, DATIM, STATA, SPSS and other M&E related software. She is also experienced in the application of Information Communication for Development (ICT4D) using devices for mobile data collection.

He has consulted for UNICEF-Kaduna 2017-2018 as an Adolescent Trainer, he participated between 2015-2017 as a household economic strengthening Consultant for a sub grant awarded project under the Comprehensive 6=1 Service for OVCs and Care givers project funded by CDC/PEPFAR, he had facilitated Village savings and Loan Association VSLA trainings and the setup VSLA groups at community level. He has also managed CDC/PEPFAR and Global funds projects 2015-2017. Consulted as a Reviewer for the Adolescent and Young peoples-AYP Action Research using BTS Series by SFH/Global Funds, he was a Trainer on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Development and Financing for Friends for global health Initiative in Nigeria- FGHIN 2016.  He was consulted to review the Policy and Advocacy on Nutrition by FHI360, he facilitated the Operational Plan development and reviews process of CRS/4Children/UNICEF/USAID/FMOH/WHO. Engaged as a lead Consultant to develop 5years Strategic plan(2017-2020) for FAROF, Participated in the Sustainability workshop by (USAID,CRS and 4children) and other consultancy jobs, also participated in the Public Expenditure Management Review (PEMR) – FMOH/PATHS
